Compact Tactical Light (CTL) is an innovative product that transmits visible and invisible light. A clear visual marker can greatly improve operational safety and reduce the probability of accidents in the dark. The invisible spectrum can only be seen by Night Vision Googles (NVG) and the colour of visible light can be tailored based on the user’s needs. Weighing at 110g thanks to the 3D printing technology topographic optimization, the design of the asymmetric-shaped casing focuses on ergonomic and compact size as the key features. The activation is as simple as pressing the rocker switch, this single-switch activation eases the operator to trigger the right spectrum at the right time to ensure mission success. CTL is powered by a commercially available CR2032 coin cell battery, ensuring optimum life cycle cost and best value for money. The Research and Development process of CTL is continuously done with the partnership between HQ Naval Air of Royal Malaysian Navy and CTSSB. This strategic partnership has resulted in multiple award winning such as National Intellectual Property Award (Champion), Perak Innovation Competition (Champion) and Royal Malaysian Navy Innovation Competition (Champion).
